A representative of the State Firm “PROGRESS” took part at the Conference aimed at the development of Cooperation between the Ukrainian Defense Industry and the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
The most interesting and useful points of discussion were dedicated to the business opportunities for the Ukrainian governmental and private defense sector enterprises to become the NATO suppliers, as well as mutual benefits of such a cooperation in course of deepening Ukraine-NATO relations in particular in the frames of the Enhanced Opportunity Partnership Program.
By participating in NSPA programs, the Ukrainian Defence Enterprises will be obliged to harmonize their standards of R&D, production and certification to match technical requirements of the NATO procurement system thus improving own intellectual and technological potential.
As a result of the Conference the State Firm “PROGRESS” under the direction of the State Holding Company “Ukroboronprom” will adopt NSPA Integrity and Ethics Policy along with the practices of the NSPA procurement process participation.
The representative of the State Firm “PROGRESS” expressed the opinion of the state exporting companies representatives on the advisability and timeliness of such interaction.
